Discovered

Well, I did the biggest no-no in the blogging world: made a blog with a post saying that I was going to start blogging, and then disappeared for the next 3 months. Unfortunately my "creative outlet" for post-grad school life was debilitated by a hectic schedule of a contracted job and full time job searching/interviewing. Thankfully I'm able to say that has come to an end for now, since I was able to clinch an amazing opportunity to officially launch my professional career.

It's looking like I'll have some stability for the time being, but I don't want that to slow me down. Ever since I finished undergrad, I've experienced some pretty high highs and extreme low lows, and I want nothing more than to see that contrast off into the sunset. Don't get me wrong- I know that life has good days and bad days, but I'm starting to realize even the bad days don't have to be so terrible. I've recently invested a lot of trust and belief into the power of positive thinking, staying sharp and level headed, and not letting negativity of others darken my day. I admire people that have honed those skills since day one, but for me it's an ongoing learning process that's certainly getting stronger over time.

Can't wait for the future, but it's time to enjoy the now.

Stay tuned my friends, and I mean it this time.
